The project "Parco Murgia degli Svevi" has been conceived and carried out by the G.A.L. Such a plan which refers to Andria administrative territory (population of 96.000) intends to stimulate different rural activities as proposed in "Programma Leader II".

The main aims are:

offering peasant farmers interesting occasions for carrying out parallel activities in order to diversify their profits;

maintaining the peculiar aspects of our culture based on traditional craftsmanship and natural gastronomic products; preserving the rural landscape and exploiting it as tourist attraction;

exploiting the most representative aspects of our culture in order to create a new, modern touristic product, capable of providing efficient services and kind hospitality for our guests.
